After graduating from Jena High School, Dr. Clark attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge for his undergraduate education and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center, School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport where he was Pediatric Chief Resident from 1994 – 1996. In 1996, Dr. Clark became a board-certified pediatrician and began practicing pediatric medicine in Alexandria. He fulfilled his childhood dream in May 2000 when he opened the doors to Premier Pediatrics.

He is President of the Cenla Pediatric Society and has served as chairman of the pediatric department at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, where he recently completed a two-year appointment as Chief of Medical Staff.
Dr. Clark’s special interests include childhood asthma, attention deficit disorder, and minor office procedures. He is a self-described “kid at heart” and enjoys spending time with his patients. He finds pediatrics especially rewarding because he gets to watch his patients grow into healthy adults and start families of their own.
Dr. Clark grew up in Jena, a small town north of Alexandria, and can be found there on Fridays seeing children in the pediatric clinic on the grounds of LaSalle General Hospital. Being active in the community, he sponsors baseball teams and might be seen in the stands cheering on Little League teams wearing Premier Pediatrics uniforms. He enjoys spending quality time with his sons, Jared and Andrew, hunting, fishing, and discussing his alma mater’s football team, the LSU Tigers.
