but are not Limited to:
Choosing the right pediatrician for your new bundle of joy is an important decision. At Premier Pediatrics, we make it easy. Pediatricians highly recommend breastfeeding because it can help decrease your child’s risk of a wide range of infections and diseases. Many mothers breastfeeding for the first time understandably have many questions. We have a licensed Lactation Consultant on our staff who is here to help address all of your breastfeeding concerns. Our consultant can provide support, advice, and peace of mind.
Well-child exams are an essential component of your child’s health care. Children should follow a specific schedule for well-child visits, at which they will receive a physical examination, immunizations, when necessary, and vision and hearing screenings. These exams are important for measuring your child’s growth and development and for making sure they are on the right path towards becoming strong, healthy adults! Our providers will work with you to ensure your child stays on schedule with well-child visits:
- Newborn (around 1- 2 weeks of age)
- 1 month
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 2 years
- Annually ages 3 and up
Please schedule these appointments as early as possible to ensure your physician is available.
Every child should receive the proper immunizations. Immunizations protect your child from potentially deadly diseases, and they protect other children from catching these diseases as well. In order to provide the best possible protection, your child should follow a proper immunization schedule, and our providers will work with you to make sure your child is staying on schedule.
